The "Lucky33" youth tournament format


"Lucky33" is a pure net format, which is aimed at children and adolescents between 8-18 years of age with a handicap of at least -45 directed.

The format "Lucky33" is divided into two series: the tournament series and the matchplay series.

The tournament series is held annually from 33 general agents of Allianz in 33 German golf clubs. The individual tournaments will be played as single. The net winners (boys & grils) and a wildcard that may be assigned by the Allianz general agent will be invited to the "Lucky33" final in early October to St. Leon-Rot, where the best of the best compete against each other and enjoy an exciting weekend.

The matchplay series is played annually in 222 German clubs. All matchplay winners will have the chance to win, beside great prizes, one of 11 sites for the "Lucky33" youth camp, which takes place in early October in St. Leon-Rot Golf Club.

In addition to the tournament and the matchplay series there will be the new format "Lucky33" pitch, chip & putt from 2015. Hereby St. Leon-Rot Golf Club want to go the way towards Solheim Cup together with the German Golf Association and give German golf clubs the opportunity to offer their young players an attractive and professional format which is novel in this form. Not only the top players of the club, but young people of all abilities have the possibility to gain competition experience and with some luck the chance to watch the PING Junior Solheim Cup 2015 live in St. Leon-Rot.
